Site Name: The Spoon

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
I write about anything that strikes my fancy. Most of the time that means movie reviews but I’ve been known to go off topic. For some reason my personal hygiene pops up pretty often.

One of my first posts was about a massive bowel movement I made, so I guess you could say that writing movie reviews and general commentary on the movie industry is a big step up from the crap I originally wrote. Seriously though, blogging has already earned me a toe-hold in the online media industry and I’m determined to get the rest of me in there as well.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I’ve been fortunate enough to sucker in a few regular readers and commentators and they’re the main reason I bother to put on pants in the morning. So to answer your question I want a large, interactive community. That and some more pants.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?

I’ve been talking peoples’ ears off about movies for at least a decade but I’ve only been doing it online for a little over a year. I try to post every day but lately some life changes (like moving to NY) have reduced my output to once or twice a week. I anticipate posting more frequently once I get internet access in my apartment.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
In no particular order I’d name Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Aladdin, and Fight Club amongst my favorite movies.
