Site Name: Random Ramblings of a Demented Doorknob

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
My main focus is… oh shiny! Er… sorry. As I was saying, my focus is a mix between reviews (of movies, TV shows, anime, whatever strikes my fancy) and articles/editorials. The articles are typically my way of incorporating reviews of movies and such already out on DVD in a more interesting fashion that just doing a movie review like all the other, more current movies.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
For some strange reason, people always ask my opinion on movies and such, as I’ve seen or know of more movies than should be humanly possible… and I strongly dislike opinions of people from places like rotten tomatoes (they’re just way too full of themselves) and IMDb (the site is the greatest place known to man, but the large portion of people that post there are idiots). So I figured I’d throw mine out there for people to look at, whether they agree with it or not. It’s just my opinion, nothing more, though people usually tend to agree with it… because I’m awesome and stuff.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I like to hear other people’s opinions of movies and such and discuss it with them… so I’d say more of a community… (and if they disagree with me, I smack them with a ruler *shifty-eyes*)

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I’ve been doing movie reviews for a couple years, but I’ve just started doing the blogging thing (not counting MySpace) for about a week.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Bang Bang You’re Dead (most powerful movie ever made), Shaun of the Dead (most brilliant movie ever made), Leon (one of the coolest movies ever made… and I’m talking about the full version, not the crappy, edited-down, American release known as The Professional).

Any additional comments.
None.
