Site Name: Listen, Are you listening?

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
“Listen, Are you listening?” went through many changes thru time… nonetheless one thing has been relatively the same since the beginning, the love for films, from short artsy films to the latest Blockbusters.

The site’s current focus is directed mainly to the latest films out there… reviews are very carefully analysed before submission since quality is a must.
The blog tries to give a very integral service by also allowing the public to watch some films and previews online, and by giving some extra information about various films such as the latest news or technical aspects.

“Listen, Are you listening?” tries to be a well round movie blog, opinions are well documented and therefore reliable… we would never blog about something we haven’t yet seen or previously analysed.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
One of the main goals is to be out there as one of the most reliable review sources… It is a shame that now a days more and more people are allowing Hollywood and the big media companies to dictate what is to be seen and what isn’t… so we want to be an alternative solution to the regular reviews found in newspapers and magazines.
Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
Not answered.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Not answered.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
We know that what we write is nothing more than our opinion and so you can trust our opinion we are letting you know which are our three favourite movies… we know there are better movies from many different aspects, nevertheless we believe that these three movies were and are exceptional in one way or another.

Amelie… we know it is kind of a cliché but what better movie to enjoy by yourself, with your couple, friends or the family. “A true love story”
Magnolia… Truly a beautiful movie with everything that I expect from a movie… real dialogs and very well managed characters. “The most human movie I have ever seen”… don’t tell me I need to watch more movies; I know I will always do.
Waking Life… this is for all those artsy guys… the movie has real deep dialogs and the rotoscoped animation makes it look truly as dream. “Was I dreaming or did that really happen?”
Any additional comments.
We are really excited about belonging to many communities… we happened to hear about LAMB and it seemed a really cool idea to get to meet all the Movie Buffs out there.
