LAMB #50 – Film-Book dot Com

by Dylan · March 11, 2008 · New LAMB · 5 Comments

(Editor’s note: Just in case you missed it from the title, this is LAMB NUMBER 50! Thanks to all of you that have joined already, and pre-thanks to those of you that do so in the future. I started this with no real expectations or goals for its growth, but I think I’m a little overwhelmed at how quickly it has grown. I look forward to fawning over the 100th and 200th LAMB just as much as this milestone. Thanks – Fletch)

Site Name: Film-Book dot Com

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
Film-Book dot Com is a movie/film website about the film world. Film-Book dot Com was created because of my affinity for most things film related. Film-Book dot Com categories include Film Reviews, Celebrities, News, Television, DVD and many others.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I trying to inform and entertain the public with Film Reviews and Film News but mostly I want to share my opinions on films and film issues. Networking is important as well, especially with other movie related blogs, to encourage the dissemination of film industry news around the world. Film-Book dot Com is trying to build a readership of like-minded, film orientated individuals.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I absolutely prefer a fully interactive ‘community’ at Film-Book dot Com. I have installed many plug-ins (Top Commenter, etc.) to encourage and foster all of the community aspects of my entertainment movie blog.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I have been film industry blogging for four weeks but I have been reading and commenting on movie blogs for years. I try to post updates to my website every single day.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
The Criterion Collection catalogue. Otherwise, name the genre.

How did you hear about the LAMB?
