Site Name: From the Front Row

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
All of the above – I try to cover it all.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
As an extension of my print criticism to voice my opinions on more subjects than I ever could in the paper, and to get my name out there and advance my career as a film critic.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I prefer the community aspect, true film lovers can be hard to find everyday, and it’s nice to have people to bounce ideas off of, but I also like to share things people might not already know about obscure films, filmmakers, or film history. If they already know it, it’s nice to find kindred spirits to discuss it with.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I have been blogging for about a year and a half, and generally write multiple posts every day.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
The Passion of Joan of Arc (Dreyer, 1928), Seven Samurai (Kurosawa, 1954), Gosford Park (Altman, 2001).

How did you hear about the LAMB?
Nick Plowman’s Fataculture.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
Thanks for your time and consideration!
