Site Name: SizzlingPopcorn.com
What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
The main focus of SizzlingPopcorn.com is to help moviegoers discern if a movie is worth watching by providing previews of upcoming movies, reviews of current and older movies, and news from the film industry.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
Not answered.
Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I prefer an interactive ‘community’, where people are free to give their opinions on movies, even if they do not agree with my review or rating.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I have been blogging since the end of January, 2008, when the website was launched. The site is updated about once a day, sometimes more frequently. There are currently over 100 posts published on the site within less than 3 months!
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
The Godfather, Braveheart, Scarface.
How did you hear about the LAMB?
From a posting The Movie Fanatic published a couple of weeks ago and a comment on Lair of the Green Knight’s blog.
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
Do you have a rating system for your reviews?
Yes, SizzlingPopcorn.com has a unique rating system! Here’s the breakdown of the movie rating system:
Sizzling Popcorn = Great movie (Blockbuster/ Oscar bound)
Popcorn = Good movie
Kernel = Not the best (watch it at home)
Burnt Popcorn = Don’t waste your money…not worth it!
