What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
Mostly reviews. Probably some editorializing too.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I’m trying to develop myself as a person by improving the way I can discuss films and music. I also hope that I can spread my enthusiasm for the world of cinema to the unimpressed.
Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
As I mentioned in the above question, I desire to discuss items in my blog. I’m far too young to inherit the role of teacher. I’m here to both learn and spread knowledge. I’m not sure how the ‘community’ environment will work for me, but I’m willing to find out.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Since January of this year. Updates depend purely on how busy my own personal life is. Also, I don’t come away from every movie with an idea for how I can write about it, so there’s never a set schedule for posting. Right now, I’m posting pretty frequently, but my school semester starts late August. I would expect a pretty significant drop in regular posts around that time.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Serenity, Moulin Rouge, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
How did you hear about the LAMB?
Nayana Anthony (The Center Seat) recommended that I join.
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
None.
Yaaaayyyy!!!!! Finally.
David is officially my favorite blogger, partly by virtue of the fact that we knew each other before either of us started to blog.
He is single-handedly responsible for turning me on to Joss Whedon, The Office, and innumerable movies. Half my Netflix Queue adds in the last year have been suggestions from David.
I highly recommend his site. He’s got some fantastic insights, but most importantly, real passion for the subject matter.
