What is the main focus of your site?
We are a couple of movie fans who are now out to be semi-professional in our efforts to discuss various aspects of film and the film world
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
We’d like to eventually turn PNR and it’s various sites into a full time gig, but for right now, we’re building our clientele, and enjoying sharing our views on the film world through our sites and podcasts.
Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
A little of both. Although we don’t allow comments on the site, we love to hear from our readers and listeners. We also have a social network site at http://popcornnroses.ning.com and our MySpace page at http://myspace.com/popcornnroses.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
PNR went online in December 2005, and Subject:CINEMA started in June 2006. We recently celebrated our second anniversary of podcasting, and are working hard on our third year. Our podcast is up every Sunday at 12 noon US Eastern time, and we post as much as possible during the week, usually two or three posts, but sometimes more.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Wristcutters: A Love Story; Speed Racer (2008 feature film version); Hero.
How did you hear about the LAMB?
Saw a link on the “Talking Moviezzz” blog.
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
