What is the main focus of your site?
After watching a movie, do you ever sit and wonder about the deeper meaning of the film? Well if you log onto my site, you can find many movies which have been analyzed for life lessons. You can also discuss the movies with me/other readers. The focus is to correlate philosophy/psychology with all of our favorite films, to discover the true meaning. You would be surprised at all of the movies which contain messages.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I have always been a giver much more than a taker. The more people visiting my blog, the more I know that my reading is appreciated. I just want others to read my work, and to get something to incorporate into their own lives. If I can do that for any person reading my site, my goal is complete.
Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I guess I would call myself a guide. Comments are always appreciated, and I will personally answer/discuss each one with you. We are a very friendly community, and I start each discussion by writing the article. My readers follow-up.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I have been blogging for about 6 months, and look to keep it going for a very long time. I have been updating my blog about once a week, and I look to double it in the very near future.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
– The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (Drama)
– Snatch (Comedy)
– Pulp Fiction (Classic)
How did you hear about the LAMB?
Google, of course. I was very excited to stumble upon such an excellent site, and it is an excellent medium between nearly every movie blogger on the net.
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
Yes, a few quotes that I am quite fond of. Many of these are paraphrased:
“Win a little every day. Whatever you do, just find a way to win each day of your life” -Bill Russell
“I am not interested in how much money you have or what family you belong to. I am interested in how you deal with hardships. That is the only thing that matters. That defines your future.” -Tibetan Lama
“Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right” -Henry Ford
