Rating: PG-13

What is the main focus of your site?
My primary focus is on film criticism rather than reviews and I tend to write about the specific elements of a film that have driven me to watch it repeatedly (like the way subjectivity is handled in Psycho, or the way Watchmen exploits violence).

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
My goals as a writer are to be a contributor to the film criticism community, to drive non-cinephiles to see great films that they have missed, and to further my own understanding of specific movies through the process of writing.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
I see the world of film criticism as a tight-knit community where critics write for an audience of like-mided people rather than a wide audience. However, that audience is only grown through writing that teaches as well as inspires. My goal is to write to both groups, though my primary drive is to be a part of the interactive film criticism community

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Reel 3 has been up for five months and I currently post new articles once every 4-6 weeks.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
8 1/2, Yojimbo, The Empire Strikes Back

How did you hear about the LAMB?
I’ve seen LAMB badges on various film blogs over the years.
