What is the main focus of your site?
Simply, I watch and enjoy movies, of all types. I get excited about them. I intend to share my excitement with my readers, maybe helping them to discover new movies to enjoy and get excited about. Although I watch and discuss movies of all types, my efforts trend toward the b-movie, the psychtronic, the exploitation flick.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
My goals for the blog are simple: to provide myself with a creative outlet for discussion of the movies I watch and to share my enthusiasms with my readers. This creative effort helps to lift me up out of the doldrums of the workaday world. Also, many people have recommended movies I ended up loving. I hope some of my recommendations likewise will be discovered and enjoyed by others. It’s all about creativity and sharing.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
Interactive. Just as much as I love sharing the movies I discover on my own, I love receiving recommendations from others. Movies are a big part of my life, one of my primary pastimes, and I enjoy learning about them. No one of us knows everything, so it’s good to have an interactive group setting to increase the dimensions of knowledge.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I Will Devour Your Content has been active for three months (since the end of June 2010). I post at least once a week, frequently twice.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
The Forbidden Zone.
Slither.
Creature from the Black Lagoon.
How did you hear about the LAMB?
I saw LAMB linked on another blog, although I don’t recall which one. It was, I think, a blog I linked to through Stacie Ponder’s horror movie blog, Final Girl.
