What is the main focus of your site?
My site mainly documents my long love-affair with movies. Horror movies are my first love, and have pride of place, but I write about all kinds of movies.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I blog for myself, first and foremost. Writing helps me think. I think I have something to say that’s of interest to others, too–or, at least, I hope so. I also like being part of a community with shared interests.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
I like an interactive community. I love having conversations with other people about movies. But I would blog without an audience. It’s the scribomaniac in me.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I’ve been blogging on my current site for five years, though the intensity of my blogging has ramped up in the last year. I’ve been writing on the internet about movies since 1997, though. There’s a link to my old non-blog site on my blog. I’m currently posting several times a week.
