What is the main focus of your site?

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
My ambition is to become a professional critic and film journalist, and this site is a collaboration of all my film interests created as a personal hobby to hone my writing skills and increase my film knowledge, and interact with my friends and peers, who have expressed interest in my views and opinions on film.
