What is the main focus of your site?The cure for the common Oscar blog, this one is more of a universal look at film, television, and other modalities throughout the cinematic year with a run-up to awards season, with the Oscars as the peak.What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?I want to lend a different, unaffected voice to the awards conversation. If I can make one person smile after reading what I’ve written, I’ve accomplished my goal and then some.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?I love to have in-depth conversations on the blog, especially in the comments section. I’m working on getting more group discussions on the blog this awards season.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?The site is now in its third year of activity, and while the number of updates depends on the time of year (November-February or March is most active, with April and May being the most inactive months) the flow is usually fairly reguarly.
