Site Name: Shadows and Satin
Categories: Classic Film
Rating: PG

What is the main focus of your site?
Shadows and Satin shines a spotlight on the dark and shadowy universe of film noir, and the satin-soft world of the Pre-Code era — the two cinematic passions of my life.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
Through this site, I hope to expose readers to films they’ve never before seen, encourage them to remember those long forgotten, and celebrate the classics that they love to watch again and again.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
I prefer an interactive community, where fellow classic film lovers and I can share our thoughts about the great movies from these era.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Shadows and Satin has been active since June 2011. I post articles approximately three times weekly, and periodically post classic film posters and pictures as well.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Double Indemnity, The Killing, and Baby Face.
