What is the main focus of your site?
I post movie reviews of the newest releases each week, plus blurbs about movies just hitting premium cable channels. But I also post tributes to great movies in my “Movies That Everyone Should See” posts and skewer comically terrible movies in my “Awesomely Awful” posts. Sprinkle in a dash of tv talk and updates when I come across any news worth sharing and I’m hoping I’ve come up with a well rounded mix covering current popular entertainment.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
Above all, I’m trying to build a site that I’M proud of, one that I would want to visit. I mean, I’m going to be there more than anybody else, so… But yeah, I’d like to create a site that’s fun to visit, where people can discuss current movies or get nostalgic about old ones. And then anything else above and beyond that is just a bonus.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
Definitely an Interactive Community. I’ve been lucky to develop an active, commenting group of readers over there, and I hope to watch that grow!

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I’m a newbie – I’ve only been at it for three months. But I’ve been updating my site every day. Some times more than once per. I try to make it so that if someone wants to check in every day, there would always be something new for them to read. I’m already up over 150 posts!

I’ve had the good fortune to be “Freshly Pressed” twice already, and I feel as though things are definitely head in the right direction! I’m looking forward to meeting new visitors to my blog, and hearing what they have to say. I’m also happy that I’ll get to join in all the blogging reindeer games around here, it looks like they’re a lot of fun!
