Site Name: Silver Screenings
Rating: G
What is the main focus of your site?

Tongue-in-cheek reviews of classic movies. I want to “sell” these movies to people who’d never consider watching them.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?

1. to improve writing skills
2. to share my passion for classic movies
3. to share some laughs

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?

Love interaction via comments. There are readers who know so much more about classic film than I, and they always have really good historical info.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?

Since November 24, 2011
Blog once per week (usually post on Wednesday)

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more):

Casablanca
Double Indemnity
The Mating Season
Name a movie you hate!!

Blade Runner

How did you hear about the LAMB?

Have seen it on other blogs.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
I’m easily distracted by unusual hairstyles in the movies. If there’s a weird hair-do, I’ll have an opinion about it.

  1. “Double Indemnity” is one of the best film noir ever made. Barbara Stanwyck is a great Femme fatale.

I’m curious to read why you hate “Blade Runner”. Oh and Welcome to The Lamb

    1. Thanks! “Double Indemnity” is a perfect movie, isn’t it? B. Stanwyck is incredible; although all the casting is great.

Re “Blade Runner”: That movie is utterly and completely beyond me, and I can’t be bothered. However, I respect those who can appreciate its themes.
