What is the main focus of your site? | The Movie Buff is dedicated to reviewing both new releases, as well as long-forgotten films. We currently have three critics. In addition to reviews, The Buff has showtimes for local theaters and current movie news. |
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? | In the short term, my goals are simply to improve as a movie critic, and to gain a stable readership on our website. I don’t see the site going into commerce heavily, but rather remain a fun, easy place to find reviews and movie news. |
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? | I definitely like to have an interactive community for my blog. We welcome user comments and suggestions for reviews, and also feature fellow movie critics on our site. |
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) | I launched The Movie Buff on November, 13, 2011, and post 1-2 new posts per week. |
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more). | Dead Poet’s Society, Harakiri, and Rushmore. |
Name a movie you hate!! | |
How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one? | I was referred to LAMB by a fellow blogger, Scot Nolan, of Bargain Bin Review. |
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above. (optional) | The Movie Buff is intended to be a community. We would love to increase our review catalogue, meet new bloggers, and add new features to the site as we grow. |
