| What is the main focus of your site? | To provide comprehensive reviews and introduce more niche films to readers. I have three main sections: ‘Reviews’, which covers current cinema releases; ‘Iconic Films’, which features more essay-style pieces about classic cinema; and ‘5 of the Best’, which is for readers with a bit less time who just want to scan a list about a specific topic. this section is generally more light-hearted. |
| What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? | To be part of a wider conversation, and to increase my chances of securing a job in the field at a later day. |
| Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? | Difficult question! I’m really into having an interactive community, this is currently a big part of my blog. I encourage it through frequent comments, questions and polls. I also like to think that I can teach people about lesser-known films, so a bit of both, really! |
| How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) | Active since December 6th. I have posted 13 items since then, so approximately one post a week. Have been busy lately though, so hoping to bump that up to 3 a week. |
