What is the main focus of your site? I discuss classic films from 1930-1965. My blog includes movie reviews, lists, actor spotlights, fashion commentary, and anything else classic film-related.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? I started my blog as a personal project; I wanted a place to chat about the classic movies I loved and I wanted to sharpen my writing skills. After years of blogging, the purpose of my blog is roughly the same except that I now promote it publicly, under my real name, and I’ve incorporated it into my resume. Still, it’s more for pleasure than business.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? I believe my blog is firmly on the casual, interactive side of things. The tone of my blog leans closer to informal discussion than to scholarly essays. While I’m the one who decides the content, I welcome the chance to chat with bloggers and get their opinions. I welcome the opportunity to learn from my readers.
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) My blog’s been active for over 2 years, since March 2011. I average about 3-4 posts per month
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more). The Best Years of Our Lives
Rear Window
The Ghost and Mrs. Muir
Name a movie you hate!! The Man Who Came to Dinner
How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one? I have so many friends and fellow bloggers in the LAMB, it’s hard to keep track. Posssibly, Vulnavia from Krell Laboratories was the first LAMB member I met. (http://krelllabs.blogspot.com/).
