What is the main focus of your site? Providing quick, succinct reviews with simple recommendations. Most of our reviews are a paragraph or two and the recommendations are See it, Rent it, and Don’t See it.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? I love going to screenings and I like to write. The original idea was to just write up quick reviews and provide simple recommendations for all the screenings I go to. I might try to add some more content as well as give away screening passes, but that will depend on how many readers I get. I would also like to start posting a “What to Watch This Weekend” where I recommend a movie to see in theaters, on netflix, and maybe on broadcast.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? I would love an interactive community if I can start getting some consistent readers.
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) About 5 months. I just revamped everything and created / updated the facebook and twitter to try to make it a more professional entity. I post updates as I see screenings, so usually about 2 times a week.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more). Equilibrium, Gattaca, Dogma
Name a movie you hate!! Killer Joe
How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one? I found it on the Movie Jacuzzi website.
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above. (optional) Thanks for having this. I really look forward to any tips you can give me to get me started!
