What is the main focus of your site? | Bayside Critic is dedicated to movie reviews, news, trailers, and editorials. |
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? | I am a movie fan who enjoys discussing film. I started the website to share my thoughts on movies and to create a platform for discussion of film. I want to share movie reviews and news with people outside of my usual group of friends. |
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? | I want to hear from as many readers of my site as possible. I created Bayside Critic to foster discussion. |
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) | I have had a movie-oriented blog since September 2010, but I didn’t start the new website, baysidecritic.com, which is my permanent home, until January 27, 2013. The blog was just training so I knew what I was doing when I started the website proper. I post multiple times per week and am trying to recruit writers to boost the frequency of content added to the site. |
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more). | Saving Private Ryan, The Fountain, Terminator 2 |
Name a movie you hate!! | Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo |
How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one? | A LAMB associate from Movie Mezzanine, Sam Fragoso, discussed the site on Twitter. You can find him at @SamFragoso |
