What is the main focus of your site? The core of my content revolves around movie reviews in which I try to culturally contextualize the film and/or come at it from a unique perspective.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? My ultimate blogging goal is to add constructively to the dialogue surrounding film, not only because it is one of my favourite hobbies but also because it might (rightfully) be considered a significant cultural force and as such requires examination. And as always: Kill Hitler.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? My goal is to add to the conversation, so if something I write can inspire someone to make the effort to respond to my mad ramblings and keep the conversation going, I consider that a success.
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) I’ve been blogging (fairly) regularly since May 2008, though as I get older, life tends to get in the way. I can’t always keep up the volume, but I’m happy to at the very least put out one or two quality posts a month, minimum. If the Internet is really lucky, I can ramp that output up to five or six posts a month for short periods. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more). Pulp Fiction
Fight Club
Goodfellas
Name a movie you hate!! Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one? I’ve seen the LAMB link on various blogs, the most recent of which I believe was Two Dollar Cinema. One quick Google search later, and here I am.
