What is the main focus of your site?
Czech cinema.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I started the blog because there’s not a huge amount of quality reviews for Czech movies in English, and I felt I could help with that. Plus as a film critic living in the Czech Republic for ten years, I thought it was about time I started writing about cinema here. I’d like to make the site a comprehensive guide to Czech cinema, and hopefully I’ll be bringing a few more writers on board soon to achieve that goal.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
I would like to build a more interactive community in future, but at this stage I feel like it’s the latter.
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.)
I started the site in August last year. Posting has been unevenly distributed so far, but now the site has a higher profile thanks to the support of the local expat centre I’m aiming to post at least once a week.
