What is the main focus of your site?

Movie critique through the forms of editorials, columns and reviews.
We do have a gaming section, but the vast majority of our focus is on film.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?

I hope to grow the site into a place where people can get high-quality movie reviews and columns by personalities they connect with.
Long-term, we’re looking at different ways through media we can complement our reviews, such as podcasting, and we’ve already experimented in YouTube a bit.
But right now, we’re just trying to establish our brand and give our writers room to experiment so they can find their own unique styles of review.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?

I like a little bit of both. I’ve been in the newspaper industry since 2015, when I started writing for my college newspaper and I do it professionally as a day job now apart from the blog, so I know full well that there are some comments you shouldn’t engage with and that there are others that can foster worthy discussion.

How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.)

My site has been active since June 2018, and we strive to post at least once a week, but since gaining two more regular contributors, we’ve been posting more often.
The site did have a hiatus between last and this year as I had a lot of work-life stuff come up, but with the inclusion of our two new writers, the site’s activity is not greatly affected by any one person.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).

This changes too often so I don’t have any overall picks. But off the top of my head, I’d say The Florida Project, Thor: Ragnarok, and Citizen Kane.

Name a movie you hate.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice

How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one?

A blog I follow is part of this.

Is there an article on your site you are particularly proud of that you would like the LAMB to promote?

Additional comment

I think that this is a great network, and I hope InReview is able to be a part of it.
