So it’s a new month which means its time for a new Cult Chops theme and in November the car is the star as we look at “Carsploitation” movies. Simply put if the car is the main focus of the film, being shot with an over fetishist like eye or it features a large amount of cars being smashed you have a movie from this genre. A mainstay of 70’s and 80’s American and Australian cinema, it faded away in the 90’s before getting a slight revival in the 00’s

Really anything relating to the theme of the month can be submitted either via e-mail – elwoodjones99@yahoo.com or on the LAMB forums with all submissions featured in a round at up at the end of each month. The hope being that LAMB’s already writing about these genres will get alittle more exposure while perhaps tempting others to wander away from the path of mainstream cinema and maybe check out some films they might not have otherwise watched.
