Site Name: Anchorwoman In Peril!

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
I grew up on woman-in-peril TV movies in which actresses like Lynda Carter were stalked by psychotic killers, so now I’m revisiting and reviewing as many as I can. Of course, with so many murder and mystery movies out there, I usually end up getting sidetracked… Recently I’ve become obsessed with obscure killer-shark movies!

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I stay up late and watch a lot of trashy films. It’s not the most productive hobby, so my blog is my way of having something to show for all my misspent hours – other than just the bags under my eyes.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
Umm, I definitely don’t see myself as a ‘teacher’ (unless they’ve started a new degree course in Roddy McDowall movies) but I don’t see Anchorwoman In Peril! developing a giant fan community either. If people leave the odd comment – or simply find out more about a long-forgotten film – then I’m happy.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Since September 2007, with updates about 2-3 times a week.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Slumber Party Massacre II, The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, Orca: Killer Whale.

How did you hear about the LAMB?
Via the awesome Final Girl.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
Describe the plot of your ideal TV movie: A beautiful but lonely TV reporter (Caroline Williams) is targeted by an obsessed fan whilst filming a piece about mysterious – and deadly – shark attacks in New York Harbor. Can her new lover, an MIT sharkology professor (William Ragsdale), protect her or does he have secrets of his own? By the end of one terrifying night, one of them will be safe – but the other will be shark bait!
