Site Name: Rita’s Romantic Movies
What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
As you might guess from my blog’s name, I review romantic movies.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I’ve always enjoyed watching romantic movies, so I thought I’d try my hand at writing about them. I don’t think I’ve totally honed in on my goals for the blog yet. One thing I’m committed to, though, is providing enough information so people can make a decision about trying a movie they’ve never seen before. That’s why I always provide a movie’s video trailer along with my review.
Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I would be very flattered if people wanted to discuss the movies I review.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Rita’s Romantic Movies is my first movie blog. I started it in May ’08. So far I’ve posted a review every 2-4 days.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
– The Princess Bride
– The Bridges of Madison County
– Roxanne
How did you hear about the LAMB?
I saw a link to it on Gina Faust’s blog.
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
It’s nice that something like the LAMB exists. There are a lot of great movie blogs that deserve the exposure that the LAMB can give them.
