Site Name: The Screening Log

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
We focus mainly on reviews about all the films we catch in theaters and on DVD, but we also post daily film news, trailer reviews, weekly columns and commentaries, and other film-related content such as box office reports, festival coverages and awards coverages.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
We are trying to appeal to an international audience. In the near future, we will also post film content from around the world, with the help of some foreign contributors. We do desire to appeal to a large audience that considers us professional enough to suggest to other people.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
We are certainly no teachers, as the blog is primarily run by students. We always encourage readers to give us their input on anything and everything we post. The more people post, the more interesting the discussion. What we post, mainly, is our personal opinion anyway.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I’ve been blogging about movies for almost seven years, but this site has been created in December 2007. We update the blog on a daily basis with film news, reviews, and weekly with some of our columns.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Mulholland Dr., Garden State, There Will Be Blood.

How did you hear about the LAMB?
I stumbled across LAMB via Google, after looking up ‘movie blogs’.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
