Site Name: The Dancing Image
Categories: Reviews and General
Rating: PG-13 I suppose. Occasional profanity, when duty calls for it, but nothing gratuitous. Maybe R if you want to get technical about it.
What is the main focus of your site?
So far every entry has been a response to a specific, recently-viewed film. Already this has included new releases, classic genres films, silent cinema, independent features, and a couple cartoons.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I just enjoy talking about movies, having people read it, and hopefully get a discussion going. I hope it will improve my writing, allow me to articulate my ideas, and help me to understand movies better.
Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I would like to see an interactive community develop through comments and back-and-forth which is what I most enjoy about the online movie blogs.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I’ve been blogging for three weeks, with an often lengthy entry each day and I intend to continue in this fashion.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Damn…ok, first to mind, Lawrence of Arabia, Easy Rider, and… Gimme Shelter. Doesn’t give you an idea of breadth rally (Gimme Shelter & Easy Rider are of the same ilk, if different disciplines) but I could spend all day on this question so I’ll spare you.
How did you hear about the LAMB?
I linked up to LAMB from a website called 1,416 and Counting.
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
I think I’ve taken up enough space already.
