LAMB #183 – She Likes to Watch

by Dylan · September 26, 2008 · New LAMB · No Comments

Site Name: She Likes to Watch
Categories: Reviews, Humor and General
Rating: It contains PG and PG-13 content on average — since I’m currently writing under the auspices of a family newspaper, I have to keep swearing and other bad stuff to a minimum.

What is the main focus of your site?
She Likes to Watch focuses mainly on movies, as well as television, online entertainment (viral videos, et al) and a sprinkling of pop culture.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I share my opinions about the latest in theaters, on video, on television and online, invite discussions about the best and worst of cinema, and give readers the latest scoop about movie-related news and events. Personally, I hope to establish myself as an informed and experienced blogger in the field. Since this blog is currently sponsored by The Tribune (, I’m also seeking to drive online readership to our home site.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I prefer a more interactive approach. I love comments, polls and surveys, and enjoy having readers tell me just how wrong I am.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I’ve been blogging in this capacity for about two years. I post daily Monday through Friday, with the possible exception of holidays.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Three of my favorite movies (man, it’s hard to pick just three!) are: The Usual Suspects, Apocalypse Now and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. I could write a list longer than my entire body

How did you hear about the LAMB?
I heard about LAMB via Blog Catalog. Since I appreciate the quality and variety of the bloggers allied with this site, and since I’m trying to gain more attention for my own blog, I’d love to join.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
My favorite color is red. My favorite scent is freshly sharpened pencil. My favorite ice cream flavor is Death by Chocolate. Or Strawberry Cheesecake. Or Butter Brickle.
