(Editor’s Note: this site is no longer functioning. Thanks to its author for submitting to the LAMB, and pour some out for a fallen homie.)

Site Name: Video Store Blues
Categories: Reviews, News, Editorials, Horror, Humor, General
Rating: My site ranges from a tough PG-13 to some posts rated NC-17

What is the main focus of your site?
Movies, I review them and talk about my own life around the movies that I see.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I started the blog when I was a frustrated video store clerk, and now
that I’m no longer a video store clerk, I dream of going back to the
glory days. I honestly just write about movies because I watch so many
of them that I get bored with just being a consumer.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I prefer interaction, but no one else seems to like that. I can be a
teacher at times, but usually just try to keep things light.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I post updates to my site at least 5 times a week, sometimes as many
as 15 but I try to keep to 5 a week.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Film Geek
Police Story

How did you hear about the LAMB?
I’m a member already.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
My site focuses on a lot of film, but I also comment on literacy,
Latin American subjects, and my personal life. I tend to be an elitist
movie geek if pushed, but really just like writing.
