What is the main focus of your site?
Primarily movie reviews. I first started the site as an archive for my print reviews that appear in newspapers, but I have larger aspirations for it in the future (ex – “How to…” articles, products, services, etc…).
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I’m a reformed high school English teacher trying to go bad after years of following the rules. Before that I was in the film biz in Los Angeles after graduating from AFI, and something of a rebel. I yearn to once again be that rebel. I aim to go pro in my blogging endeavors and eventually offer more than just articles. I want my blog to become the platform for all of my movie-related career choices. I also want to use my blog to promote the culture, entertainment and tourism of my hometown: Clarksdale, Mississippi.
Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
I have plans for both actually, but right now primarily a community.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I’ve written movie reviews since 2001, but have been blogging since May of 2008. I post 1-3 times per day, often including material from contributors
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
LOST HIGHWAY, ALIENS, and DAWN OF THE DEAD (1978)
How did you hear about the LAMB?
Saw the link on www.theskykid.com (a great site by the way!)
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
You’re doing a great thing here. I’m delighted to see a strong community exists for us intrepid movie bloggers.
