It’s our second LION Award to hand out and this one is for the best movie poster of 2010. Out of 28 voters, here are your Top 5…plus 10 extras:

5. The American-19 points

4. The Social Network-32 points

3. Buried-34 points

2. Inception-43 points

1. Black Swan-79 points

Right about now you may be calling “shenanigans” on the top two entries. However, the votes were so scattered over the different designs for both films (if the votes even specified one design) that had I counted them individually none of the posters would’ve made it into the Top 5, which very well may have caused an uprising. Blame the marketing teams of the two films for creating so many fantastic posters.

Come back tomorrow for the Best Foreign Language film, which will have one clear cut winner.

  1. I call shenanigans. I had to go to all that trouble to reference the right “Buried” poster, the one more awesomer than any of the “Black Swan” or “Inception” posters and they win anyway.

    Clearly, this is a conspiracy.
