What is the main focus of your site?
Fear of a Ghost Planet endeavors to cover all aspects of popular culture in a way that is both fresh and respectful. High or low brow, we don’t care. It’s it’s made, attention must be paid.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
Personally, I hope this blog is a (more) successful successor to Careful With That Blog, Eugene. As a graduate student in poetry, I don’t have a whole lot of forums to talk about things I enjoy outside of literature. This is my podium.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
Interactive, please. Why publish things on the internet if nobody will comment on them?
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
One week (September 2011), but was an active LAMB until late last year. If that doesn’t count for something, I can always reapply in three months.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
The Big Lebowski, Robocop, Breathless
How did you hear about the LAMB?
Eons ago, I think the banner on Final Girl directed me to this fine website. But that was eons ago.
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
If you liked the old blog, you may like the new one. At least there’s not a big, scary robot mucking up the background this time.
Hello, again, hello.
haha I am just collecting blogs with teeth. I love reading articles that really have some aggression behind them. Quite often they are the only ones who sift through all the nonsense out there and tell the truth about whatever they are looking at or reviewing. I am on this site right now reading about everything from music to literature to movies. I will defiantly be following this one.
