2011 LAMBScores Summary

by Rachel · February 26, 2012 · LAMBscores · 6 Comments

As the keeper of the LAMBScores for almost 3 years now, I’ve always intended to post an annual wrap-up for all the scores posted. I just never got around to it till now. I figure the day of the Oscars ceremony and the wrap of the LION Awards is a good time, so we don’t keep bringing up 2011 and can look forward to rest of 2012.

Below are all the average LAMBscores for 2011 films. But since scores are rounded to the nearest half, I’ve gone back and re-tallied the scores to list them in order of their actual average. Yes, it kinda sucked, mainly because I hate math so much. However, it’s for the greater good.

So here they are, all 112 films from 2011 that received enough LAMBScores to be counted, listed from highest to lowest, with the number of votes in parentheses.

Well, I’m not sure if anyone is really interested in this information, but there it is. I just thought it’d be a different look at the year as each film was scored on its own, and not ranked like in the LIONs poll, the final results of which will be posted later today and which do vary from this list.

And if you’re not submitting your LAMBScores, do so over at the LAMB Forums.
