What is the main focus of your site?
I review films, but I also try to provide information about the people involved and their cinematic relevance. My niche is Video On Demand exclusives. (Vudu, Amazon, Itunes)
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I want to promote discussion and community feedback. Debating films is one of my favorite things. I also hope to have a pool of writing samples that can be syndicated or used in portfolios.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
Depends on the subject, but I like community interaction mostly. Film criticism wouldn’t be fun if everyone agreed.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?

My site has been active for a year. In the last couple of months I purchased a new domain. The old one redirects there.

I really get excited to see and review films that not many others have had a chance to see. V.O.D gives me a good opportunity to do that. I also am beginning to enjoy online distribution services such as filmdiy.com who release independent films on consignment. It’s a great way to see up and coming filmmakers.
