1. Anne Hathaway (Les Miserables) – 240 points

 

Wow, what a convincing win! Hathaway’s performance in Les Miserables dominated the category, earning almost double the points of runner-up Amy Adams. Add that to her 4th place showing for The Dark Knight Rises and it’s clear she had a great year. Hathaway is a former winner in the Best Actress category, winning in 2008(tied with Kate Winslet in Revolutionary Road) for her performance in Rachel Getting Married.

Oscar nominee Helen Hunt just missed the cut, scoring 51 points to put her in 6th place. Stay tuned for Best Screenplay tomorrow.
