What is the main focus of your site? A place for film reviews as well as opinion pieces on storytelling and film criticism.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? For me the site works in two ways. It allows me a place to write about films critically, letting me explore themes that I wouldn’t usually if I wasn’t keeping the blog. It is also a showcase of my opinion, and often springboards conversations to discuss film further with some other brilliant bloggers around the world.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? Completely interactive. I do not believe that there is one true opinion on a film and I love to discuss movies.
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) The site has been active for around five months, and I aim to post at least three times a week. Sometimes I post more and sometimes less, but I’m fairly consistant.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more). Shaun of the Dead
The Apartment
Brothers Bloom
Name a movie you hate!! I don’t hate movies.
How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one? A couple of different bloggers were members. I forget which was the first.
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above. (optional) I currently believe that there is no film that doesn’t have a redeemable feature. Even Transformers 3 had a fun scene with John Malkovich. If anybody knows of a film which may challenge this life belief, please get in touch.
