The May MOTM is getting posted in June because it recorded on the last day of the month, not because we hate May for any reason. Guest Host Matthew Simpson shepherds the guest through a discussion of the lesser known noir film, and all the guests think that it deserves to be better known. Our resident Noir authority, Howard Casner, has seen the film before, but Matthew and Dave Anderson were new to the film and had lots to say about the shady characters in the story.
But first, some disparaging remarks about the star of the film, Cornel Wilde. No on was Wilde about his performance, but maybe it was pale in comparison to all the bad guys who seem to have been better written. You can look forward to a unique discussion of Lee Van Cleef and Earl Holliman, who play a couple of gunsels in the film.
