| What is the main focus of your site? | To get through my entire DVD/VHS collection (roughly 700 films at present), completely randomly. Films are selected through a lottery. |

In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? | I’m currently a film PhD student and a critic for a number of publications in the Uk; this blog is so I can have fun writing on my own terms, while also engaging with a wider audience. |
| Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? | I enjoy hearing other people’s opinions and having debates about movies, so the former applies more than the latter. |
