| What is the main focus of your site? | The main focus of “Hi Fi… High Fidelity” is to offer suggestions and musings on films, genres, and directors. I have a degree in film studies from MSU and currently starting my career in Los Angeles as a producer’s assistant. It’s certainly my voice, not that of a critic. I also suggest music, literature, and other art. |
| What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? | My goal is to urge fellow cinephiles to take their film watching very seriously. Like a body builder needing to lift daily, a cinephile must consume films daily. I urge people to pick a particular master (director, actor, etc.) and watch their entire catalogue. It’s a great way to learn film. |
| Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? | Interactive. Though my background in film studies an theory offers something to learn, I prefer an open community where we all learn from each other. |
