| What is the main focus of your site? | The thing that makes us at Let There Be Movies unique is the angle at which we view all films. All of us are Christians, and God comes before movies for each and every one of us. In our reviews we’ll certainly give you our not-so-professional opinion on the quality of the movie, but we’ll give you something more as well. We believe you can find some morally good story lines in just about every film, some redeeming characteristics in every role. We’ll do our best to highlight those things and cause you to ask yourself, what would you do? What kind of person would you be in that situation? Could you make the tough but right choice? Do you find yourself relating to the good or bad in each character? In short, we’re trying to find God, or at least his characteristics, in the movies we review. In drawing out these attributes we hope to encourage our readers to cling to the good, the just, the right things in life and flee from the immoral and selfish decisions that we often find the “typical” Hollywood movie glorifying. |
| What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? | Every blogger wants tons of people reading their material, but more importantly to us is affecting the lens through which our readers view movies. We hope to key on the religious or moral attributes in every film and encourage our readers to recognize those instances and transfer that to making better choices in their own lives. |
| Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? | We would love to hear additional opinions and extra insights on the movies we review. |
| How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) | We launched January 9th, 2013. We currently post a movie review every Saturday but we are hoping to increase that to two posts per week. On a bi-weekly basis we post some kind of “list” in which all of our authors contribute. And, occasionally one of our writers will go on a rant about some specific thing they’ve noticed and feel the urge to write about. |

| How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one? | I heard about the LAMB from multiple movie review blogs I read posting nominations for the Lammy’s. Specifically: Fog’s Movie Reviews, Head in a Vice and Dan the Man’s Movie Reviews. |

Don’t be surprised to find tidbits of scripture, recollections of something Jesus taught, or harsh words for certain lifestyles. We hope you enjoy our perspective and find it encouraging! |
