| What is the main focus of your site? | The main focus of my site is reviewing films that have come out in cinema. As an 18 year old teenage girl, I am not your usual film nerd and therefore my perspectives are often quite different to others on films. I have just started doing a piece every Friday called Friday’s Film News Round-Up in addition to other articles about cinema. |
| What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? | Not only do I write my blog because talking about movies is my passion, but it also helps me practice my writing skills. I hope to be a journalist in the future with my main ambition being to become a film critic. This blog is the first step on my road to my goal. |
| Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? | I prefer an interactive community. Recently reaching 25,000 hits I do have regular readers and people who comment, but I think now is the right time to become more interactive. I hope that joining LAMB will help me with this. |
| How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) | I have been writing this blog since November 2010 and it currently has 141 posts on it. I update it frequently, but the posts per week changes from time to time due to university work etc. I also write for other magazines and publications, and will be running a film radio show starting from September, so I will be balancing my time between my blog and these as well. I update it as often as I can which is on average at least once a week. Many times it is more! |
