What is the main focus of your site? | We are a film blog dedicated to providing users with opinions and recommendations on a wide variety of cinema. We split our content into two categories: Hidden Gems and New Releases, and use this as our foundation. |
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? | As the four of us are devoutly passionate about film, lostVHS enables us to have an outlet to voice our opinions. Within the near future, we aim to make lostVHS an established site with a strong following of readers, and potentially, also make lostVHS a magazine. |
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? | We prefer interactivity within our readership. We encourage people to comment on the site, and consequently we discuss back, as we feel this creates a more interesting environment from which we can learn things about film from also, and develop a greater perspective on our ideas. |
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) | The site was founded in May 2013, so has been active for 3 months. We post every day once a day at 7pm excluding Sundays. |
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more). | North By Northwest – Hitchcock Rashomon – Kurosowa Chinatown – Polanski |
Name a movie you hate!! | Django Unchained |
How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one? | I found the LAMB through Google searching for Film Blog directories. |
