| What is the main focus of your site? | Our site’s main focus is to bring together film and horror industry professionals, so they can network and promote their materials. We blog to provide horror film fans with original content in terms of reviews, features and news. We have a team of writers trying to get their name out into the blogging world. |
| What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? | LHS is run by Chris Nials and myself [Zoe]. Chris is the owner and I’m the Editor for the site – although I do more than just editing. My personal blogging goals are to get my name into the industry and showcase my writing. I studied Journalism at University, therefore I’m aiming to work in the field, specialising in horror. Chris and I are aiming to turn LHS into a business by hosting events around London that focus on aspects of our blog. We use our blog to gain members to our horror society. |
| Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? | We are not the teachers and our readers are not students. We are all fans of film and horror, therefore we like an interactive community where we can chat with other fans about film and horror. It’s far better to have a great discussion with someone, rather than tell them what you think is right & wrong. |
| How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) | Our site has been active since 2012, although we have recently moved to WordPress and updated our site completely. We aim to post 3 posts per week, but eventually we want to be posting an article every day. |
