The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!

LAMBMOTM18

As usual for the month of October the Lambcast will be mostly focusing on the genre of horror, which means the Movie of the Month poll is a horror movie special. And once again it seems the winner may have gotten a little creative with their campaigning as this month’s winner received far more votes than perhaps anyone was expecting, so for October we’ll be discussing… Carry On Screaming.

Congratulations go to first time winner Rebecca Sharp from Almost Ginger for championing this British classic to victory. In winning the poll Rebecca gets the chance to host the upcoming Lambcast devoted to the film.

As always, when that Lambcast show is posted, any reviews the rest of the LAMB wishes to write about the film in question will be posted too. Please send in any submissions – new or old – to jaycluitt(at)hotmail.com by Monday 10th October. Around that day will also see the next poll go up, so if you would like to champion a film for November’s Movie of the Month, get in touch.

Here are the results of this month’s poll:

Almost Ginger will be ineligible to champion a MOTM contender for the next three months. As You Watch still has two months of ineligibility left. Kirkham A Movie A Day will be ineligible for one more month. Life Vs Film is now eligible again.
