After a two week break, the Lambcast is back and we have a big one for you to kick off the Summer season. The MCU seems to have been in the doldrums for a while and the characters in this movie have apparently been watching because they are all depressed as well. Maybe a new team of B-grade heroes will do the trick and return our interest to a continuing story line.

Jeffrey Lyles of “Lyles Movie Files” becomes our reference encyclopedia for the comic book origins of this team and it’s members. Matthew Simpson of the “Awesome Friday Podcast” provides assistance as he too is deeply versed in the comic lore of the MCU. Rachel Wagner of “Rachel’s Reviews” provides a degree of skepticism over whether a movie dealing with existential angst is really Summer movie fare that will entertain. Meanwhile, Todd Liebenow of the “Forgotten Filmcast” brings some common sense and Fantastic Four enthusiasm to the episode.

We may not be able to fly, but we can punch and shoot with the best of movie podcasts and you will find plenty to enjoy about the discussion this week.
