Whether you lived through it or not, 1983 was a great year for movies and the guests this week pick out some great movies from that year to talk about. Howard Casner from “Pop Art” has his usual eclectic list of the films he thought were the best of the year. The Vern of “Cinema Recall” thought at first we were doing a draft, but eased into his list pretty smoothly without worrying about a competition. Todd Liebenow , “The Forgotten Filmcast”, picked movies he simply enjoyed, and did not have a system for his selections, but David Brook of “Blueprint Review” certainly did, and you can expect subtitles and karate chops as part of those selections. Finally, Richard takes a nostalgia cruise, focusing on memories of seeing the films more than the details of the movies

So check your local mall multiplex, see if the times for the films work out for you to grab a hot dog on a stick or a pretzel from “Auntie Anne”, and join us in the wayback machine for a couple hours of fun. There is plenty of chop-socky, teen comedy, nightmare fuel and historical drama and whimsy to keep you entertained and educated for a long episode.

What a nostalgic journey through 1983! The eclectic mix of films mentioned—from historical dramas to chop-socky action—reminds us how cinema thrives on variety. Just as pgph88 vip offers diverse gaming experiences, the best years in film balance different genres to create lasting memories. Great episode!
