We had another tight, tight race for the next Movie of the Month film. In the end, we set a new record high for votes, shattering the old record of 204 by a whopping 90 votes. Time for me to eat crow. From the onset, I wasn’t such a big fan of Inglourious Basterds as a choice for the Movie of the Month – it seeming to be a too recent and too popular film for my particular MOTM tastes. For the 107th episode, we take a step in a new direction and open up a new recurring series for the show, in which we take a look at a popular series from film history. Over at the LAMB Forums, the participants in the show voted from a number of franchises and the winner was the Alien series. On hand for the show was host Dylan as well as Nick, Tom, Fogs and newcomer Mark of Green People Soup.
